we hope you all had a lovely weekend. it's a beautiful sunny monday morning here in devon and, as promised on friday, here are the details of our little giveaway. we thought it would be a nice way to celebrate our new journal & to say thankyou to all of you that follow us and take the time to comment on our posts, by hosting a little giveaway.
we have chosen our leaf lanterns (not sure how many we are going to give away yet, perhaps we'll see what response we get). so many of you featured our lanterns on your own blogs this xmas and seemed to fall in love with them, so we thought they would be the perfect giveaway prize to say thanks.

we make our leaf lanterns using plant fibre & skeleton leaves and each comes in a little box with a tea-light & care instructions. they look lovely in natural daylight and, when lit, have a warm golden glow. there are more details & images of the lanterns on our website {link}.
to be in with a chance of winning one of our leaf lanterns, please visit our website pachadesign {link} and tell us on this post your favourite piece from our furniture or accessories range - and don't forget to leave your email address too please. if you are on our followers list (on this new blog) you will get an extra chance of winning - to follow us simply add this blog address to your reading list on your blogger dashboard or click the follow button on the sidebar of this blog.
we'll let you know the winners in about 2 weeks time (either the 22nd or 23rd march) - good luck & feel free to let your own readers know about our little giveaway if you wish.

Well, it's really difficult to choose just one item - I really like the oak and slate table and benches, a close second would be the rust console.
ReplyDeleteWill retweet your giveaway today
deb (kickcan & conkers)
deb - thanks for taking part, we'll put you down for 2 chances, good luck!
ReplyDeleteI love it all, but my fave furniture item is the blackened oak console table w/ drawer (I can't resist burnt wood!) and my fave accessory is the re-use oak tea light blocks. I really enjoy your blog, by the way.
ReplyDeletesyeira - thanks for your lovely comment & for taking part ... good luck and don't forget to give us your email address so we can contact you if you win (we couldn't find one on your blogger profile).
ReplyDeleteSammy & Glenn - Thanks for the heads up. I just updated my Blogger profile to include my email address and follow your blog.
ReplyDeletesyeira - thanks for that & we will put your name down for an extra chance.
ReplyDeleteSammy and Glenn, thanks for the link to this lovely give-away. I'll post a link to it on my blog later today. :)
ReplyDeleteAs to your store, I love everything, but if I had to pick just one item, it would be the rusty steel & oak sideboard. It's perfection!!!
Good luck with your store and the new blog. Your work is absolutely stunning! I'm a follower now, too. :)
xo, Isa
isa - thanks for taking part and thankyou for your lovely comment about our rusty steel sideboard, it's one of our favs too. We shall put you down for 2 chances in the giveaway, now that you are a follower too - good luck.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations for your very beautiful new blog and thank you for this lovely giveaway. When I visited your site the first time last december I remenber your offset oak console table caught my eyes... and the steel and oak bench... and the re-use oak light block... and of course the leaf lantern !
ReplyDeletelily - thanks for taking the time to comment and good luck in the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, you new blog is delicately charming. The layout and images are just beautiful. I really like what you have done:)
ReplyDeleteAlthough finding one piece that I adore from your collection is hard, I have had my eyes on the oak & slate dining table with benches for a while.
It truly is the most perfect dining table. Clean lines, with history in its reclaimed wood. Modern yet timeless. Now I only wish I would have a home for it:)
marie - wow, thankyou so much for your lovely words, that's very kind. our dining table & benches does seem to be a favourite which is nice to know. good luck in our little giveaway and thanks again.
ReplyDeleteI have been putting off making a comment because I live on the West Coast of Canada. I have been to your website before and the two pieces of furniture that I really like are the "low tea" table and the steel and oak console table that you call "rust". The name caught my attention and I had to have a closer look. The internet is great but I would love to see you work in person so that I can see all of the patina and "flaws" in the recycled wood and steel.
ReplyDeleteLen - we are so pleased that you have commented (now you get 2 chances in our little giveaway too!). low tea is one of my favourites as well (and the stanley coffee table). And getting better images of the materials that we use is on our to do list this year - still won't be quite as good as seeing the pieces for real, but it might give you a better idea/feel for them.
ReplyDeletegood luck in our giveaway & thanks again for commenting.
I hope that I didn't sound like the pictures weren't very good. Even the best of photographs can't show all of the subtle variation in colour and texture. I understand how difficult it can be to photograph work in order to show it to its best advantage as well as having a pleasing photograph. I hope I'm not digging myself into a deeper pit here by trying to explain something that probably didn't need to be explained. Keep on doing such great work.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad for this giveaway, Sammy and Glenn. My favorite piece is the steel and oak console, especially with the dock block option. It's fantastic. This was a tough choice, though! I'd love all of them. Thank you for the chance!
ReplyDeleteLen - don't worry, we didn't think you meant our pics weren't good enough at all - but it was very nice of you to explain anyway.
ReplyDeleteliza - thanks for taking part and becoming a follower, we'll put you down for 2 chances, good luck.
ReplyDeletemy favourite are actually your leaf lanterns, followed by your oak/slate dining table. Great work.
ReplyDeleteMatt - thanks for your comment. Could you give us your email address (it isn't on your blogger profile) - if you win our giveaway we will need to email to let you know, thanks.

I posted about the Leaf Lanterns a while ago because they're just about the most original thing I've seen! So I know it's cheating but they're my favourite of all. That said, the Oak Edge slate table is gorgeous - I can imagine it under an overhanging roof outside by a pool and brick bbq! Oh, and I'm a follower!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the blackened oak console table with drawer, what a majestic welcome this would give to any home hallway
ReplyDeleteOh my... this journal is so whimsical, I love it!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite piece would have to be the steel & oak console. I can't decide if I would use it in my dining room to hold up a huge antique window frame, or in my art space just under my japanese paper collection... decisions, decisions!
I'm so happy you found my post on Friday featuring your beautiful work. I know all of my readers will be just as inspired as I have been!
