come & join us this weekend where we'll be exhibiting brand new work at the exciting new show Ingenious Pursuits.
a gathering of local artists & makers based in and around Bude, North Cornwall, the event will take place at Norton Barton Artisan Food Village.
the 2 day event will showcase beautiful new work from 12 hand picked artists & makers from disciplines including furniture, sculpture, ceramics, photography, art, lighting, printmaking & macramé.

entry to the event is free, with donations welcome to 2 local environmental initiatives.
food will be available by caterers Beautiful & the Feast, bar by Norton Barton and coffee by local roasters Sabins Coffee.

our 3 day open studio as part of Welcombe Open Studios 2016

we are opening our studio in Welcombe, North Devon this Fri, Sat & Sun {12th, 13th & 14th August} as part of the Welcombe Open Studios event.

come & see a collection of our handmade furniture and objects for the home: coffee and dining tables, consoles and side tables, a range of mirrors, lamps, clocks, chopping & serving boards + more, with many discounted pieces only available at our studio for the 3 day event.

we'll also have new work on show not yet available on the website.
our current offer of 15% off made to order furniture ends on the 14th Aug, so do come along to our open studio this weekend to discuss any furniture commissions with us.

as well as our studio, the event has 11 other artists showing work around the village: fine art, textiles, pottery, glass, sculpture, abstract art + more ….. look out for the signs around Welcombe to direct you to the venues.
our studio + 2 others are close to The Old Smithy Inn, with the other 8 artists exhibiting at Welcombe Village Hall, where you'll also find delicious cakes on sale at Welcombe's Pop-Up Tearoom.
There will also be a National Trust Art on the Beach day hosted by artist Tom Hyde on Welcombe Mouth Beach {Friday only}.

Welcombe lies on the coast at the border of North Devon & North Cornwall, in-between Bude & Hartland and, as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are some great walks here as well as a stunning beach at Welcombe Mouth.

Welcombe Open Studios 2013

our next event is Welcombe Open Studios 2013 where you can come & visit our studio in our lovely village Welcombe, which lies on the coast at the border of North Devon & North Cornwall.

we will have a selection of furniture on show including oak & brass groupie tables, rust shikiri shelving,  a beautiful groupie console table and more.
objects will include small & medium reclaimed cornish slate mirrors as well as larger sculptural mirrors: offset slate mirrors & rusty steel mirrors.  we will have a selection of slate clocks and lamps, as well as lots of oak chopping/serving boards, including some blackened oak serving boards.
we will also have some of our reclaimed cornish slate serving plates, perfect for serving sushi or hors d'oeuvres.
all work at the studio will have 20% off for the 3 day event.

as well as our studio {follow signs to studio 1} you can visit the studios of 9 other artists showcasing work that includes photography, art, pottery, textiles, glass & more.
this years event has a gallery in a tipi, a multi projection installation, a pop-up gallery in a phone box, the return of the National Trust Art on the Beach day {Friday only} and the much anticipated Welcombe's Pop-Up Tea Room will be launching their first ever event at this years Welcombe Open Studios.
